Skinsceuticals Antioxidant Lip repair $38 for 10ml
I wanted so much to love this but it was just a ‘meh’ product. I got this because of good reviews online, and I was also at some point feeling paranoid that I was getting lip wrinkles. This is a white lip cream – so think of applying a face lotion onto your lips, that’s what it feels like. It wasn’t very hydrating and didn’t last long on my lips. Also, the pump was bothersome – it dispensed way too much product a la MAC pro Longwear Concealer. It’s expensive too.

Clarins sun wrinkle control Eye Contour care SPF 30 (discontinued)
I used to be really obsessed with finding an eye cream with SPF, but then I realized that none of them were hydrating enough on their own. So I’d have to layer a non-SPF eye cream underneath it as well. Nowadays, I just wear regular non-SPF eye cream and then apply my typical facial sunscreen on top. works just as well.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar K – $14 for 400ml
I discussed this in my last favourites and I’m so sad to have finished this because La Roche-Posay has discontinued this product in North America, for some reason. It was a terrific lightweight moisturizer for my t-zone. I’m thinking of trying Paula’s choice BHA lotion in place of this.

Mary Kay TimeWise® Age-Fighting moisturizer Normal/Dry Skin – $35 for 88ml
This made onto my last favourites list as well and was a surprise hit. It is glycerin based and felt very lightweight – it’s imply for dry skin but I think those with really dry skin wouldn’t find this hydrating enough. It was terrific for my normal / combo skin. The tube is very sanitary and you get a lot of product for a fair price.

Shiseido Benefiance instant treatment Eye Mask – $72 for 12 masks
I scored these from Winners and I have one much more box left. When they’re gone, I will be sad. I’m debating if I would pay full price for them. I am using the Avene Ystheal Anti-wrinkle emulsion which I really like.

Garnier whole blends green Tea green Apple Refreshing Shampoo – $8 for 370ml
This is a wonderful daily shampoo to clarify my hair and smells like fresh green apples. This was also a product from the favourites post.

Nexxus Therappe glamorous Moisturizing Conditioner – $14 for 400ml
I had the matching shampoo and my review is the same: I received this for totally free from a pal and it was ok. Smelled fine and didn’t weigh down my hair but I wouldn’t seek it out.

Cake charm Satin Sugar sweet Fuss-Free Volumizing dry Shampoo
Did not care for this at all. It did not volumize my hair, nor did it make my hair look refreshed or de-greased. and to top it off, the smell was a nauseating fake sweet cake frosting. I much choose Cake’s powder dry shampoo.

Bath & Body works Waikiki beach Coconut Hand Soap with Coconut Milk
This was a good addition to the Waikiki beach Coconut collection this year. I typically opt for the foaming hand soaps from BBW but this one was a good change. I discovered that it’s less drying than the foaming soaps. I’d certainly consider purchasing much more of these hand soaps if BBW releases them again. For now I’ve got a couple left in my stash.

Bath & Body works Waikiki Beach Coconut Aloe Gel lotion – $15.00 for 166ml
I purchased this last year and it’s everything I wanted the Body shop Body Sorbets to be – it’s hydrating, lightweight and smells incredible (unlike TBS’ version which isn’t hydrating at all). I still have a few tubes left of this that I’m rationing. BBW didn’t bring this product back this year, sadly!

Kiss my face naked Pure Olive Oil Bar Soap – $8 for 3-4oz bars
This is a staple in my stash – it’s a very gentle and soothing formula that leaves my skin soft and supple.

Shiseido UV Protective Compact foundation SPF 36 in SP30 – C$35 for 12g
This is a wonderful powder to apply on top of foundation (sheerly) or as a powder foundation on its own. I took this with me to Japan and it was very useful to have SPF in powder form for touch-ups. This made a favourites list from last year. The compact is refillable so I will be keeping that and tossing the refill pan. When I repurchase, I may try one shade down as I find this one a touch orange looking.

CoverGirl Clump Crusher Lash Blast Mascara – C$10.99
Dit is mijnTrusty Standby voor wanneer ik reis. Het biedt niet de meest dramatische wimpers, maar het klomp me echt niet op, dus het is niet nodig om een lashkam met mij mee te nemen. En het is echt waterbestendig, dus geen vlekken op de onderste wimperlijn. Ik maak altijd een punt om minstens één Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara in mijn rotatie te houden – je kunt hier mijn samenvatting bekijken van Covergirl Lash Blast Mascaras hier.

Ik heb dit ooit gebruikt en nooit meer. Ik heb nog nooit iets onthuld, mijn wimpers als deze! Review Here. Ik houd de borstel om te zien of ik het kan hergebruiken!

Revlon All-in-One Mascara – C $ 10,99
Dit maakte mijn wimpers bij elkaar, en het irriteerde mijn ogen. Ik evalueerde hier, samen met de volume + lengte vergrote versie hier. Haal in plaats daarvan de andere.

Shishida seishindo metallic mascara kam
Mijn arme lash-kam is eindelijk gebarsten na ten minste 5 jaar gebruik. Het is een geweldige tool geweest en ik ben blij dat ik back-ups van dit heb (bedankt q, bedankt c!), Hoewel er nu zo talrijke geweldige opties beschikbaar zijn, inclusief Sephora’s (wat denk ik een kopie van deze) . Ik heb hier opgewonden over deze lashkam. Ik denk dat ik een van de lashkammen ga openen die ik in Japan kreeg.

DAISO-reinigingsmiddel voor markup bladerdeeg en spons – ¥ 100 in Japan, maar C $ 6,50 van eBay, voor 80 ml
Dit spul is magisch. Het houdt mijn charme blender type sponzen uitziende merk spanking nieuw. Een kleine fles zoals dit duurt gemakkelijk 6 maanden en ik gebruik het 2-3 keer per week. Ik heb maar een paar druppels nodig om een spons schoon te maken. Ik zou een beetje wensen dat ik veel meer flessen hiervan had geschonken toen ik in Japan was, maar de ruimte in mijn koffer was premium onroerend goed!

Mary Kay Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover – beide roze flessen zijn hetzelfde product, MK heeft ervoor gekozen om de verpakking van hun GWP van de roze dop naar de Black Cap-versie te veranderen. Ook heb ik beide gwp-maten in één maand niet beëindigd. Ze waren allebei ongeveer 2/3 afgewerkt omdat ik ze op vakantie of weekendtrips met me nam. Ik vind deze formule leuk – het is erg effectief, maar het laat een siliconen-y-film op mijn huid achter. Ik moet altijd het residu schoonmaken met micellairwater.
KIEHL’s zeer multi-corrigerende eye-opening serum – dit is een zeer waterig serum dat ik heb gedragen onder de antipoden kiwi zaadolie oogcrème. Ik zou de volledige grootte niet kopen.
Clinique Reparatiewear Sculpting Night Cream – Geen schat hiervoor. Het is naar mijn mening niet rijk genoeg om een nachtcrème te worden genoemd. en het beeldhouwde niets. De container van deze GWP heeft de valse bodem van een goochelaar aan de gang – het badkuip ziet er enorm uit, maar omvat alleen 15 ml – er is veel lege lucht en plastic in deze container!
